8^th September 2010- IMPORTANT NOTE – 
MONTHLY STARS - GOD AND SCIENCE 

In the light of the introduction to the October Monthly Stars, I would like to say that we cannot ignore science any more than we can ignore language as we attempt to understand the Nature of God.

When in the introduction to the October Monthly Stars I say that we cannot use physics to understand God, I meant physics ALONE or science ALONE.

Hence, I used the analogy that science is only a tool (knife and fork) for understanding God, or The Creation or Existence.

If we do not use the objectivity provided by science and physics and, indeed, the minds of great men such as Professor Hawking (notwithstanding his obvious shortcomings), we will never release ourselves from the sugar-coated, dreamy, confusing and misleading versions of God that are often peddled in the New Age arena.
   More important, we will not release ourselves from the Middle Ages approach to God and life that is so prevalent in the world today – in all religions and in all nations.

Yes, whilst that old approach worked once, it does not apply now.

We, today, understand things differently; and science helps give us objectivity and therefore some measure of Truth, and therefore some of the freedom we are now becoming ready to accept.

In short, we cannot progress unless we use science – but it must be only as a tool we can use: it is not our master.

Finally, there is one more important point I would like to make.

It is this:

Whilst I have great respect for Professor Stephen Hawking, before he talks about God, I suggest that he defines God.

Only then can he talk about God is such a dismissive manner, or indeed in any manner at all.

Mind you, it would help if he studied the free e-book, The Astrology of God, which is available from this website.

Professor Stephen Hawking says there is no God (see here) – but is he looking in the right direction and does he have the right information?

Professor Stephen Hawking (left), famed for the book A Brief History in Time, has always wanted to deliver a Theory of Everything. 
   Perhaps because he felt he could never succeed by using physics alone, he has ruled out God, which is very convenient for a scientist.

   Most people know, of course, that science is only a thin slice of everything and therefore cannot on its own come close to explaining God. Other people are aware that science really is a tool for helping us understand God - not the other way around.

   As the book, The Astrology of God, shows, there certainly is God. Read and study that book and you’ll get a good insight into His Nature.

   And to help satisfy the scientists amongst us, that book is explained objectively and to a certain extent empirically (it could never explain God by being entirely empirical).

   If people of today want to understand God in the way we understand things today, then they must also consider the explanations given in the book The Astrology of God.

   I suggest you take a look at what Stephen Hawking says and also consider what is said in The Astrology of God. You should discover that your understanding of God improves even more.
